Frontier Airlines App Reviews

Heres the thing. It looks nice and quite simple to navigate. Much better than their sad attempt at the last app, if you can call it that. Some recommendations. 1.). Fix the itinerary or load it when your customers log in. Cant pull mine up after many attempts. 2.) Use location services to see which airport the user is at to check flight statuses. I dont care about outbound flights from Tampa. 3.) is there an option for a boarding pass? I wouldnt know if there was since I cant pull up my itinerary. Get with it guys!

4 flights, 4 times on time with all the luggage, friendly staff...I didnt experience any of that with two other well known airlines in America! As a former flight attendant I know to appreciate this service! Great job, Frontier!

The app is horrible. If they cant make an app that works, I wont fly with them. UPDATE: App takes multiple presses to select something. Still needs work.

Do not book flights on Frontier, they will nickel and dime you for everything. Seat selections, AND $30 for carry on bags. SERIOUSLY??? This airline is horrible.

They only let you print one ticket for a round trip flight and the app they tell you to use for the return trip e ticket does not work. Not even at the airport kiosk! You have to go to the ticket counter. Ive been waiting here for an hour

Could pull up my phone boarding pass to my destination but not back. Lots of error messages since.

Most of the one star ratings here are likely due to baggage fees. Im rating app only. Its very good. Took me 10 seconds to find my boarding pass. Feature request: please allow us to download the boarding pass in passbook.

The app didnt recognize me. Changed pass to no avail. It took my money to buy a seat but didnt send an email with the Boarding pass QR. Disregarded my TSA pre approved number. Pretty much useless.

App cant find reservation... You can only get mobile boarding pass through the app. Must print a PAPER ticket ulgh - or go to the ticket counter. Is this the Stone Age??

I didnt book through the app, but the boarding passes exported easily to passbook. I have had no problems so far.

DONT BOTHER DOWNLOADING. Better yet - dont ever fly frontier. They are so unhelpful. The app cant even find my reservation. Frontier is so obnoxious. They make you get the app to use mobile boarding and the app doesnt even work. Tried calling support to no avail. The lady I talked to was incompetent.

Have this ap loaded on my iPhone and iPad. Have re-downloaded both aps multiple times, and signed in and out. Every time I try to book a trip, this ap gives the same error: Failed to connect to the server and were unable to continue...

This app is useless. Cant search for flights, cant retrieve booked flights, cant see miles. What exactly was the point of making an app if all that is available is the info that I provided????

Tried the latest version on iPad and iPhone, app will not print, instructions are not clear working thru app in attempt to check in. Programmers for this app need to do a lot of work to make it usable. Ended up going to a laptop and fly frontier.com to check in. Would not recommend the app to anyone. Have you ever dealt with frontier? Its like they actively trying to provide bad service. No imagine this cattle shuttle trying to build an app. What do you the the user friendliness will be?

If would you like to constantly reload your info into the app so you can get your QR code again and AGAIN, then this app is perfect for you! This app is terrible. Youd be better off printing your tickets than relying on this app for your ticket. That being said the app makes checking into your flight easier than doing things online.

You get what you pay for in terms of airlines. Ive flown frontier lots of times, since its the cheapest for a flight I make often. Flights are very mediocre, no drinks, etc. The app is very convoluted. Doesnt work with frontier website login. Doesnt work well. Ultimately all I need from it is to be able to add my pass to Wallet. And it does that. So whatever. But if youre gonna make an app, make one that feels good, and makes users want to come back. I get that Frontier is cheap. But thats no excuse for their crappy experience online. And everywhere for that matter.

I was reading the reviews and most the people are saying that its always logging them out. If you take a screenshot of your boarding pass you wont need to worry about it. Personally it never logged me out when I closed out of it soo ¯_(ツ)_/¯

They force you to install the app because Frontier does not provide any other form of electronic ticket that is accepted by airport authorities (No Wallet/Passbook, no pdf for phones, no browser support). Not appreciated. The app itself worked flawlessly though.

App wont find my reservation even after I login it. Whats the point of this app if the most important feature, retrieving the Boarding pass, doesnt work. Also tried using my confirmation number to retrieve the boarding pass and no luck. Discount airline with a discount app...
